Zase neutop auto. Cz/ Engl. Don't drown the car again
Měla jsem ráda svou WW Jettu, podotýkam měla, protože jsem ji jednu dubnovou oblevu utopila. Jedu si po silnici kudy jezdily i ostatní auta a pochopitelně jsem zastavila u značky Stop. Bohužel byla značka blizko výmolu, který byl plný vody stejně jako silnice. Auto se naklonilo na stranu, a už jsem nevyjela. Syn najednou křičí, že do auta teče voda. Cože, tak rychle?? A tak nás pomáhali tahat ven tři chlapi s Fordem truck, chudáci si zničili boty, pak dojeli požárníci a aby tomu nebyl konec, příslušník kanadské jízdní policie volal jestli chce můj syn a já konzultaci specialisty pro oběti. Oběti čeho? Vody, či opomenutí a blbosti města, které mimochodem okamžitě zlikvidovalo po našem 'topeni' výmol? A já mám auto nové, ...větší. Partner nikdy ale nezapomene připomenout: 'Zase neutop auto.'
I used to like my WW Jetta, I'm pointing out 'used to', because I drowned it during one April's meltdown. I'm just driving one day on the road where other cars drove too and obviously I stopped at the Stop sign. Unfortunately, the sign was too close to the ditch, which was flooded as much as the road. The car tilted to one side, and I couldn't get out. All of a sudden my son started to shout that the water was flooding the car. What, so fast?? So three men were helping us to get us out with their Ford truck, poor guys finished their trainers, then firemen arrived and to top it all, a member of RCMP called whether me and my son want a consult with councilor from victim services. Victims of what? Water or the town's negligence and stupidity? By the way, the town filled up immediately the ditch after our 'drowning incident'. And I got a new car, ...bigger, but my partner never forgets to remind me not to drown a car again.
